Thirteenth in the catalog of doubled die reverses for the 2009-D Lincoln Bicentennial Early Childhood cent, WDDR-013 documents hub doubling on the log cabin reverse designed by Richard Masters and sculpted by Jim Licaretz. The Early Childhood design depicts the one-room Kentucky cabin where Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809, and its detailed architectural elements — individually rendered log ends, window frames, and roofline — provide numerous reference points where even minor hub displacement becomes detectable. Estimated values stand at AU $2, MS60 $3, MS63 $5, and MS65 $7, reflecting moderate collector interest consistent with many of the Denver Mint entries in this extensive DDR population. Attributed by the Wexler Team under Wexler Variety ID: 2009-D 1¢ EC WDDR-013, this variety emerged from the intensive examination that the 2009 Bicentennial cents received during their one-year-only production run, when four rotating reverse designs each generated substantial die pair counts at both the Philadelphia and Denver Mints.
