Description
For the 2009-D Lincoln Bicentennial Early Childhood cent, WDDR-013 documents hub doubling on the log cabin reverse designed by Richard Masters and sculpted by Jim Licaretz. The Early Childhood design depicts the one-room Kentucky cabin where Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809, and its detailed architectural elements — individually rendered log ends, window frames, and roofline — provide numerous reference points where even minor hub displacement becomes detectable. Attributed by the Wexler Team under Wexler Variety ID: 2009-D 1¢ EC WDDR-013, this variety emerged from the intensive examination that the 2009 Bicentennial cents received during their one-year-only production run.
