Description
2009-D EC WDDR-009 is a doubled die reverse on the 2009-D Lincoln Bicentennial cent with the Early Childhood reverse, cataloged by the Wexler team. Doubling shows at the bottom of log ends #8 and #9. Obverse markers: a small gouge well north of the E in LIBERTY; another small gouge above and between its E and R; a crack running NW through the eyebrow; and a crack from WNW to ESE across the upper forehead. Reverse markers: a small gouge (dot) under the U of UNITED; a dot NE of the I in AMERICA, near its top; and short cracks running SW and SE from the foot of the M in the RM initials. Marilyn Keeney submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
