2009 (D) Lincoln Cent - Early Childhood - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-006

Description

2009-D EC WDDR-006 is a doubled die reverse on the 2009-D Lincoln Bicentennial cent with the Early Childhood reverse, cataloged by the Wexler team. Very slight doubling shows under log end #9. On the obverse there is a gouge well to the south of the I in LIBERTY, a crack running NW through the eyebrow, and a crack from NW to SE across the upper front of the forehead. On the reverse, an almost vertical scratch lies between the tops of the O and F in OF. Marilyn Keeney submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
