Description

2008-P OK WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 2008-P Oklahoma state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the earlobe's underside. Obverse markers: a chip in the lower part of the B in LIBERTY; two gouges over the Q of QUARTER; a crack across the bust's base and through the upper part of the designer's initials; and a chip on the bust's base north of the R in QUARTER. On the reverse, in the center wildflower on the right, a chip sits among its upper right petals. David Serbonich submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 1-O-VIII.
