Description
The 2008 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 2008 (P) Oklahoma State Quarter, part of the State Quarters 1999-2008 series. Die markers: Obverse: A die chip fills the lower B in LIBERTY. A die crack runs across the base of the bust and through the designer’s initials. Reverse: A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the right of the bottom of the 1 in 1907.
