Description
2008-D WDDR-012 is a doubled die reverse on the 2008-D John Quincy Adams Presidential dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. Slight doubling shows on the Statue of Liberty's right arm just above the robe's sleeve, and where that arm meets the second ray clockwise from the head. On the obverse, a small gouge (dot) lies right of the bottom of the hair. On the reverse, a short NW/SE scratch sits above and to the right of the point where the second ray meets the arm. Andrew Miller submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
