Description
2008-D WDDR-008 is a doubled die reverse on the 2008-D John Quincy Adams Presidential dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. The Statue of Liberty's right arm shows slight doubling just above the robe's sleeve. On the obverse, a small gouge (dot) lies right of the center of JOHN's J. On the reverse, a small gouge (dot) sits at the upper right of the tablet the statue holds, and a die chip is on the dollar sign's upper serif. Andrew Miller submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
