2007 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - P-1DER-003T Trail Die Reverse

Description

Only the E of ONE is affected on 2007P-1DER-003T, but TrailDies still treats it as a trail die. The isolated trails on that letter run in two directions, 100°, just south of east, and 280°, just north of west, opposite ways along the same line. Its number places it as a 2007 Philadelphia cent (2007P, 1) with a reverse extension (DER), file 003, trail type (T). The coin is late die state, with no obverse markers and a crack in the cornice above bays 3 and 4. Louis Schaeffer of Maryland found the die. Trails are generally attributed to rotary polishing of the die, while some attribute them to movement of the die against the hub.
