This variety was discovered on the 2007 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent, part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. Die markers: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – two die cracks in the hair of Lincoln’s head. Reverse is MDS – a die crack in column 1 that crosses over the top of bay one and develops into a die chip in column 2. Die chip is seen in the top of column 3. This die was found by Louis Schaeffer.
