2005 (P) Minnesota State Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse DDR-046

Description

2005-P MN DDR-046 is a doubled die reverse on the 2005-P Minnesota state quarter, cataloged by VarietyVista. The spread is strong but light: an extra tree stands left of the third tree, and faint traces of the rock appear to the right of the third tree. VarietyVista also gives it as 46-R-VIII. VarietyVista's chart numbers are UVC-1501 and DMR-049. Stage A (early die state) is unconfirmed. At Stage B the reverse is in an early middle die state; a die crack crosses the upper part of the designer's initials (early middle), and another runs across the front of the bust and out into the field. Stage C (late die state) is unconfirmed. Reported to VarietyVista by Colleen Prebish.
