Description

The Minnesota State Quarter extra tree doubled dies captured public attention when discovered in circulation shortly after release. This DDR-045 shows very strong spread appearing as an extra tree to the right of the third tree, with additional doubling to the right of the second full tree, creating the distinctive appearance that made Minnesota quarter varieties widely sought. The reverse depicts a lake scene with two people fishing and a tree-lined shore, designed by Charles Vickers.
