Description

2005-P MN DDR-030 is a doubled die reverse on the 2005-P Minnesota state quarter, cataloged by VarietyVista. The spread is strong, but the secondary tree shows only as a very small teardrop-shaped area to the right. VarietyVista says it resembles several others, though it sits higher than any of the earlier listings. Its CONECA-style designation is 30-R-VIII, and VarietyVista's chart numbers are UVC-1484 and DMR-032. Stage A, the early die state (EDS), is unconfirmed. Stage B has a strong die gouge on the rim southeast of UNUM, in a middle die state (MDS), and the obverse is MDS too. Stage C shows a die chip in the lower part of the last 8 in 1858 and a small die chip in the field at the ribbon end, both in a late middle die state (LMDS). Reported to VarietyVista by Ken Potter.
