Description

2005-P MN DDR-023 is a doubled die reverse on the 2005-P Minnesota state quarter, cataloged by VarietyVista. The medium spread forms part of the third full tree right of the state outline and includes a tree branch set low and to the right. VarietyVista also gives it as 23-R-VIII, and its chart numbers are UVC-1477 and DMR-025. On Stage A, both the reverse and the obverse are in an early die state (EDS). On Stage B the reverse is in a middle die state (MDS); a die crack crosses the designer's initials, marked MDS, another crosses the front of the bust, and a third runs north-south through the tip of the nose.
