Description

2005-P MN DDR-020 is a doubled die reverse on the 2005-P Minnesota state quarter, cataloged by VarietyVista. The spread is strong but the image is light: part of the third full tree right of the state outline, wholly displaced from its point of origin and standing out in the field. VarietyVista also gives it as 20-R-VIII; its chart numbers are UVC-1474 and DMR-022. On Stage A, both the obverse and the reverse are in an early die state (EDS). On Stage B the reverse is in an early middle die state (EMDS), and a light die crack crosses the front of the lower bust, also EMDS. Stage C, the late die state, is unconfirmed.
