2004 (P) Wisconsin State Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-021

Description

2004-P WI WDDR-021 is a doubled die reverse on the 2004-P Wisconsin state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. The cow's nose shows the doubling on its right side. The obverse is itself a doubled die, filed by Wexler as 2004-P WI WDDO-002, with doubling on the underside of Washington's earlobe. On that side, a crack crosses the left side of the bust's base and reaches into the field over the U of QUARTER. On the reverse, a short vertical gouge sits inside the first S of WISCONSIN, in its upper part. Whaden Curtis submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
