1999 Typical Die Clash TDC-5C-1999-01

Description

TDC-5c-1999-01 This 1999-P Jefferson nickel shows both an obverse and reverse die clash. This coin is in the collection of David Strzalkowski. The image to the left shows the clash marks left by Monticello. A partial M form the word MONTICELLO can be seen in front of Jefferson’s eyebrows. The back part of Jefferson’s hair and queue with bow can be seen clashed just above the right side of Monticello.
