Description
TDC-100c-2007D-01(TJ) is a typical die clash on a 2007-D Thomas Jefferson Presidential dollar, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. Both dies clashed, and neither set of marks was abraded. On the obverse, Liberty's chin from the reverse design left a mark below Jefferson's left eye. On the reverse, Jefferson's left eye left clash marks; MDC adds that on most Presidential dollar clashes the mark shows up as an apparent extra ray in Liberty's crown. The coin is in the collection of David Egeland.
