Description
Extremely close spread towards the center on IGWT defines the primary DDO for the 1996 Denver Memorial Cent. Obverse markers: four small die gouges between the lower second nine and the six in the date, a small die gouge between the second nine and the mint mark, and a die gouge in the field right of the lower lip. Reverse: none noted. Attributed by the Wexler Team (Wexler Variety ID: 1996-D 1¢ WDDO-001).
