1993 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - P-1DER-051WS Trail Die Reverse

Description

On 1993P-1DER-051WS, a 1993 Philadelphia cent reverse, the stairs bend moderately under columns 5 to 8, the result of trail lines crossing them at 180°, due south. Read in order, TrailDies' number gives the date and mint (1993P), the one-cent denomination (1), a reverse design extension (DER), the file (051) and the wavy-step type (WS). The late-die-state coin has a die dot above the two 9s of the date on the obverse and another dot above the corners at the left end of the stylobate. As with other trail dies, rotary polishing of the die is the usual attribution, and a minority view blames movement of the die against the hub.
