Description
TrailDies' entry for 1993P-1DER-034WS is short: light step deviation below columns 5 through 8, offset 180°, straight down the face of the coin. The code stands for a 1993-P cent whose reverse shows a design extension (DER), filed as 034, of the wavy-step kind (WS), in which the Memorial's stairs look kinked where trail lines cross them. The die state is late. A long scratch starts on Lincoln's coat and climbs northeast to a point above the date, and on the reverse a small gouge rises from the roof top beneath the NU of UNUM.
