Description

D/D Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouges NW of mint mark. Small die gouge (dot) under chin and under the nose. Light die gouge in the hair centered below the TR in TRUST. Die gouge just above the tip of Lincoln’s hair under R in TRUST. Three strong die gouges on jacket west of lower bow tie. Die gouge well below BE in LIBERTY. Die damage shows along the right edge of Column 12. Reverse: Light die gouge at rim under N in ONE. Heavy abrasion lines, oriented SW-NE show above ONE CENT.
