This variety was discovered on the 1972 (S) Proof Lincoln Memorial Cent, part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. Die markers: UVC-2918 DMR-010 Stage A: Obverse and Reverse are EDS Stage B: MDS (unconfirmed) Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). S/S Rotated CCW. Proof. Obverse is ODV-027b (MDO) – No die gouge in upper S of TRUST.
