This dual UVC assignment is unusual in the VarietyVista system, where each UVC code typically identifies a unique obverse-reverse die pair; RPM-004's obverse die outlived its original reverse die and was remated with a fresh reverse, generating a second die pair entry. Bearing the directional designation D/D South on an ODV-027 obverse (no re-engraved tie), this variety tracks through four documented die stages spanning both die pairings. Stage A at Early Die State captures the southward repunched mintmark and the original die pair in their freshest condition.
