1971-D Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-002

Description

A Class II spread towards the center shows on IGWT, the date, and slightly on the letters of LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: Two die scratches run NE from above the E in WE. A die scratch runs from NW to SE inside the D of GOD. A die scratch runs from WNW to ESE above the mint mark. Reverse: The reverse of this variety is a specimen of the scarce "Four Island" variety. A die scratch runs SSW from between the bottoms of the A and T in STATES. Obverse:
