Description
A Class I CW spread can be seen on USA, EPU, the dots, ONE DOLLAR, the stars, the craters, the earth, and the left end of the olive branch. Die Markers: Obverse: Two nearly parallel die scratches run SW from the bottom of the B in LIBERTY. Close tripling shows on IGWT from WWHO-005. Reverse: This doubled die is on the scarce "Four Island" variety. A short die scratch runs east from the lower right side of the left vertical bar of the N in UNITED. A light die scratch runs parallel to the rim above the NIT in UNITED. A die scratch runs from SW to NE midway between star #13 and the eagle’s tail feathers. A die scratch runs from SW to NE above the crater to the right of the designer’s initials. Obverse:
