Description
1970 WDDR-004 is a doubled die reverse on the 1970 Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. A close Class V clockwise (CW) spread pivoting near 6:00 shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the torch flame; ONE DIME shows it slightly. Wexler notes no obverse markers. On the reverse, a vertical die scratch lies right of the lower part of the second S in STATES, and a scratch runs south from the olive positioned north of the PL in PLURIBUS. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
