The 1970-D Doubled Die Reverse DDR-009 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1970 (D) Kennedy Half Dollar, part of the Kennedy Half Dollars Silver Clad 1965-1970 series. Die markers: UVC-478 DMR-011 Stage A: Die scratch from lower E of AMERICA through lower star under it – EDS Obverse is EDS Stage B: Strong die clash on Reverse and Obverse – MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Can be found in Mint Sets. Reverse is RDV-002 (Flared G).
