The 1970-D Doubled Die Reverse DDR-008 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1970 (D) Kennedy Half Dollar, part of the Kennedy Half Dollars Silver Clad 1965-1970 series. Die markers: UVC-473 DMR-010 Stage A: Die scratch North-South through G of designer's initials – EDS Obverse is EDS Stage B: Strong die damage on lower OF – MDS Obverse is MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Can be found in Mint Sets. Reverse is RDV-002 (Flared G).
