Description
1964 WDDO-006 is a doubled die obverse on the 1964 Washington quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. Notches appear on the upper left of the letters of LIBERTY, and the ribbon's bottom shows slight doubling. On the obverse, a small gouge sits over the first T in TRUST on its left side, NW/SE scratches lie left of that T, and a crack crosses the bust's base into the lower queue. On the reverse, a crack descends the eagle's right wing. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
