This Proof-prefixed WDDO-046 is a dual DDO/DDR variety — its obverse die carries a doubled die obverse while its reverse die is simultaneously a doubled die reverse, independently listed as WDDR-124 in the Wexler Doubled Die Files. The companion reverse entry (WDDR-124) was enriched in batch 33 and documents a strong clockwise spread from a pivot at approximately 10:00, visible across the letters of OF AMERICA, the IBUS of PLURIBUS, the designer's initials FG, the lower right portion of the Lincoln Memorial building, and the letters of ONE CENT.
