Description
1963 WDDO-010 is a doubled die obverse on the 1963 proof Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Minor doubling appears on the designer's initials and the 19 of the date. On the obverse, a scratch lies on the rim left of IN, two gouges sit NE of the date's 3, and a small gouge lies right of LIBERTY's Y. On the reverse, a scratch sits on the rim over TE in STATES, a gouge lies in the lower opening of STATES's E, and another gouge sits over PLURIBUS's first U. Brian Ribar submitted the variety; additional die markers were taken from a coin that John A. Wexler owns. Wexler lists no cross-references.
