The partial letter coverage — affecting only fragments of ONE and PLURIBUS rather than the complete words — reveals the geometry of the hub misalignment: the displacement vector intersected these inscriptions at oblique angles, catching the leading portions of each word while the trailing letters fell outside the zone of detectable separation.
