1961 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-018

Description

Class II + V, Distorted and Pivoted Hub DoublingThis variety was formerly listed as WDDR-099.  It replaces the original WDDR-018 listing which was delisted because it was too minor.  Nice Class II + Class V doubling shows on UNITED STATES OF, FIVE CENTS, and MONTIC of MONTICELLO. Die Markers: Obverse: Slanted die scratch to the right of Jefferson's nose. Reverse: Die dot inside upper portion of the second U of PLURIBUS.
