Description
Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die VarietiesVery strong tripling toward the center shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, LLO of MONTICELLO and the right side of the building with all spreads increasing from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge (dot) between upper portions of U and S of TRUST. Reverse: Short vertical die scratch between upper portions of U and S of PLURIBUS; die scratch around circumference of rim, doubled under AMERICA.
