Description
The 1960 Doubled Die Obverse DDO-006 is a doubled die obverse (DDO) variety, where a misalignment during the die hubbing process created visible doubling on the obverse design elements. This variety was discovered on the 1960 Proof Roosevelt Dime, part of the Roosevelt Silver Dimes 1946-1964 series. Die markers: UVC-339 DMR-008 Stage A: Die gouge on rim just below I of IN – EDS Reverse is EDS Stage B: Obverse and Reverse are MDS Stage C: Obverse and Reverse are LDS.
