Description

Doubling shows on the D in UNITED, the STA in STATES, and EPU. Die Markers: Obverse: Large Date. The obverse is an RPM variety listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1960-D 1¢ WRPM-086. It is a D/D Tilted (Rotated). Die scratches run NE from the front of the vest to the left of the date and mint mark. Die scratches run mostly E/W through LIBERTY. A strong die scratch runs SE from the bottom of the one in the date. Reverse: A die scratch runs NW from the top left of the N in ONE. Obverse:
