Description
1959 WDDO-003 is a doubled die obverse on the 1959 Washington quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. A close spread toward the center appears on the RTY of LIBERTY. On the obverse, a SW/NE scratch lies between LIBERTY's R and T, a scratch heads SW off the L, a crack crosses the bust's base, and many other scratches appear all over the obverse. The reverse is the Type B reverse. Clarence Coon submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 1-O-II.
