Description

Class VIII, Tilted Hub DoublingClass VIII tripling shows on the lower right side of L of LIBERTY and slightly on the lower right side of I of LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: Series of circular die scratches on Jefferson's collar; die gouge below BE of LIBERTY near back of head. Reverse: Die scratch through CE of MONTICELLO; two die scratches above E of MONTICELLO.
