Description

Very nice Class II tripling spread towards the center shows on the letters of EPU, both of the dots, both of the upper wheat ears, and both of the wheat stems. Doubling shows on the upper letters of ONE and OF AMERICA. Die Markers: Obverse: Circular die scratches radiate on the bust with the center on the neck. A short, diagonal die scratch can be found under the left side of the G in GOD. Reverse: A short, vertical die gouge can be found just to the left of the upper E in EPU. A die gouge (dot) can be found inside the lower N of ONE. A die gouge (dot) can be found between the first T and A of STATES and another can be found above the left side of the second T of STATES. A small die gouge (dot) can be found above the right side of the C in AMERICA. Obverse:
