Die markers UVC-532 / DMR-002 track three stages with an interesting early-stage detail: Stage A features a die scratch running south from the T of LIBERTY while both obverse and reverse are at EDS — this die scratch, present from the earliest documented strikes, may have been introduced during the die preparation process rather than from production wear. Stage B shows both obverse and reverse at MDS, and Stage C progresses to LDS (unconfirmed).
