Cataloged by the Wexler Team, this 1955-D Jefferson Nickel bears a D/S over mintmark variety cross-referenced as CONECA OMM #1, Cherrypickers FS-05-1955D-501 (034), and Breen #2739 — an extensively documented variety with broad recognition across major attribution services. Wexler Variety ID: 1955-D 5-cent WOMM-001. Reverse die markers include two die scratches running SW from the bottom left of the L in PLURIBUS, several die scratches running NNW to SSE through the second U in UNUM, and two parallel die scratches running ENE from the right side of the M through the O of MONTICELLO.
