D/S. The diagonal curve of the S is seen inside the D while the bottom of the S is seen just below the D. Die Markers: Obverse: None significant. Reverse: The reverse of this variety is also a doubled die that is listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1938-D 5¢ WDDR-001.
