Exhibiting a D/D/D South, North triple-punched mintmark, this VarietyVista-cataloged 1954-D Lincoln Wheat Cent reveals punches displaced in opposing vertical directions. Die markers UVC-508 / DMR-003: Stage A with medium secondary mintmark to the south at EDS and reverse at EDS; Stage B with weak secondary mintmark to the south at MDS and reverse at MDS; Stage C with very weak secondary mintmark to the south at LDS and reverse at LDS. The systematic attenuation from medium to weak to very weak across three stages documents how die wear progressively flattens the displaced D impression, providing a textbook case of RPM visibility degradation.
