Description
1952-S WRPM-013 is a repunched mint mark on the 1952-S Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. A secondary S lies west of the primary S (S/S West). On the obverse, die gouges lie left of the date's 1, near its top. On the reverse, strong north-south scratches lie above the left arch and run through the right arch; parallel scratches head ENE off the second S of STATES at its top right; and other scratches appear across the reverse. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
