Description
A strong CCW spread from a pivot at about 9:00 shows on LIBERTY, the date, the designer’s initials, IGWT, and the lower queue. Die Markers: Obverse: A short die crack extends from the rim midway between the I and B of LIBERTY. Reverse: A deep die scratch connects the upper points of the M in AMERICA. A die crack runs through the BUS in PLURIBUS and runs to the top of the eagle’s left wing. A die scratch runs parallel to the rim above the second A in AMERICA.
