Description

Eighteen repunched mint marks documented on the 1951-S Lincoln Wheat Cent speak to the depth of die-by-die research that has characterized the series for decades, and WRPM-018 adds another unique working die to that census. The Wexler Team attributed this variety under Wexler Variety ID 1951-S 1¢ WRPM-018, recording a die on which the S was applied more than once with detectable displacement between impressions.
