Description
A strong CCW spread from a pivot at about 8:00 shows on LIBERTY, the date, the designer’s initials, and the lower queue. Die Markers: Obverse: Two parallel die scratches run north from the forehead below the I of LIBERTY. A small die gouge can be found to the left of the upper R in LIBERTY. A die crack runs east across the upper forehead and into the hair. A die crack runs across the base of the bust. Reverse: A die crack runs down the eagle’s right wing. A die crack can be found on the upper eft wing below AMER in AMERICA.
