1951-D Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001

Description

A spread towards the center shows on QUARTER DOLLAR, AMERICA, both of the branch ends, and the lower left leaves. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs across the base of the bust. Reverse: The reverse is a minor RPM variety that is listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1951-D 25c WRPM-008. It is a D/D Tilted (Rotated). A die crack runs down the eagle’s right wing.
