Description
S/S Tilted Die Markers: Obverse: Numerous, light die scratches run NNW-SSE through the left edge of the date. A die clash remnant shows at the front of the neck, north of the bow tie. Numerous die scratches run north from the upper RTY in LIBERTY. A N-S die scratch shows almost perfectly centered inside the opening of the ear. A die gouge (dot) shows in the field below the R in TRUST. A die gouge (dot) shows in the field, SE of the O in GOD. Numerous, mostly E-W concentric die scratches show on the lower bust and lapel area. Reverse: A band of parallel, SW-NE oriented die scratches run through and below the C and E in CENT. Numerous die scratches run south from below the IBU in PLURIBUS into the upper N in ONE. A strong die scratch runs north from the lower left edge of the A in STATES. A die clash remnant shows to the NE of the N in CENT. Several N-S oriented die scratches show through the E in ONE and the T in CENT.
