Description
S/S East Die Markers: Obverse: Faded die scratches run North from the 9 in the date. A die dot can be seen on the front edge of the bust WSW from the lower edge of the mint mark. A tiny die dot shows in the field NE of the bowtie. Reverse: A series of three parallel die scratches run SSE from below the upper crossbar of the E in CENT. A heavy, but faded die scratch runs South from the lower left side of the E in ONE ending just below the left side of the horizontal crossbar of the T in CENT. A short die scratch runs North from the left upper side of the O in ONE. A die dot shows along the lower left outer margin of the C in CENT. Another die dot shows in the field north of the left side of the N in UNITED. Light die scratches run N-S above the UN in UNITED and SW of the C in CENT.
